Police grab wife who planned with boyfriend to kill husband in Kumasi

Police in the Ashanti Region has arrested a 27-year-old woman and her boyfriend for conspiring to kill her husband.

The suspects, Mavis Brepor, alias Maadwoa, and Patrick Asare, alias Coach, 50, are said to have engaged the services of a contract killer to have her husband, David Gator, 52, killed.
According to Classfmoline, the suspects, in their attempt to contact the contract killer, mistakenly called the Manhyia Divisional Police Commander, ACP Kwaku Buah.
ACP Buah then feigned interest in the contract when Patrick Asare committed to pay GH₵100,000 to have Mr Gator killed.
ACP Buah said together with undercover investigators and detectives, lured the suspect to come to Kumasi after they posed as contract killers from Sefwi.

The suspect, he said, admitted in his caution statement after his arrest that he conspired with the target’s wife to kill him so they could freely go on with their relationship.
The suspect led the Police to Pamen where Mavis was also arrested.
The suspects are currently in Police custody and are being processed for court.

GHbase.com made a strong promise to our readers to follow up on the sad story of the Citi fm presenter, Kofi Ofori-Attah, who died some few months after wedding one Diana Owusu – who is widely alleged to have poisoned the former because he caught her being bonked by another man after marriage.
The latest GHbase.com gathers has it that, Diana allegedly, poisoned Kofi through ‘waakye.’ According to the source of the information (unedited):
“The lady in the picture is Diana Owusu 28years of age. Before they got married, she was with Anglogold. She was at the IS dept. and had a boyfriend there. She had another boy friend within the org. The man she was talking with in the earlier audio is another boyfriend in the accounts dept.

“Finance man at UST. This guy also used to be at Anglogold b4 the restructuring exercise. Both of them left after. She went to start some business at Obuasi and hired an apartment. The husband Kofi is in accra and used to visit her.
“There is a woman in that house who told Kofi that diff men have been coming to his wife. So the Kofi decided to be watchful and got some real actions.

“One time he call the wife and she said she was at home. That was a lie but being camped in one of his friends room. The friend later confessed and Kofi beat the wife to that lie. She went to report at the police station, hence that audio at the P. station.”

Kofi leaves at Dzorwulu and when his wife visited, together they allegedly went to Dansoman to buy wakye. When they got home the lady prepared the food in plates and allegedly poisoned his. After eating from different plates, Kofi became affected and was rushed to the hospital. The wife also allegedly pretended to be affected as well and also sent to Korle bu teaching hospital.
Kofi died at the hospital. At that time his wife did not even know the husband was dead. As we chat the wife is in Republic of South Africa. She did not show up at his husband Kofi’s funeral last weekend.
