On Monday, April 20, 2020, the Okyenhene gave a month’s ultimatum to families of deceased persons to take the bodies from morgues in the Akyem Abuakwa State for burial, in the face of congestion concerns due to the restriction on funerals. The Daily Graphic gathered that bodies removed from the Kyebi Government  Hospital morgue were either sent for private burial or to private morgues outside Akyem Abuakwa. The suspects, Mavis Brepor, alias Maadwoa, and Patrick Asare, alias Coach, 50, are said to have engaged the services of a contract killer to have her husband, David Gator, 52, killed. According to Classfmoline, the suspects, in their attempt to contact the contract killer, mistakenly called the Manhyia Divisional Police Commander, ACP Kwaku Buah. ACP Buah then feigned interest in the contract when Patrick Asare committed to pay GH₵100,000 to have Mr Gator killed.
